Go "hybrid" with KEEN this holiday season

KEEN hybrid promotion for Forest Park

December 1, Portland, OR –Keen Footwear, a Portland based shoe and accessory company is giving back to the Forest Park Conservancy this holiday season. The Conservancy was chosen as one of a handful of non-profit organizations to benefit from the holiday fundraiser. Keen will be donating five dollars for every pair of shoes purchased via their Hybrid Shop web site to selected non-profits. Additionally, the non-profit who generates the most Hyrbid Shop traffic will earn an extra $5000 from Keen.

The Forest Park Conservancy is asking the Portland community and their friends and family to help FPC earn $5000 by buying a pair of Keens for yourself or your loved ones this holiday season. To participate, visit Keen’s Hybrid Shop web site (www.keenfootwear.com) between December 8th-December 24th. When checking out online, enter the promotional code of KEENFPC to have $5 of your purchase donated to the Conservancy. “Five dollars is very significant to FPC. Five dollars equates to the cost of one bare-root sapling tree; the kind of trees FPC plants in the Park each winter. These trees become vital to enhancing Portland’s air and water quality while also providing essential habitat for the Park’s wildlife ,” states Development and Communications Manager, Andrea Schwartz.

The holiday fundraiser is just one of many ways Keen has stood alongside FPC. “Corporate partners, like Keen Footwear, are important to the success of the Forest Park Conservancy. From stewardship work parties, sponsorship of volunteer events, and general financial support to community engagement, Keen has been a tremendous partner over the years. One we value immensely,” adds Andrea.
