It is that time of year already. We hope you will join The Forest Park Conservancy for our largest trail work party of the year. This annual event is a great opportunity to get outside, meet some new folks, and give back to the trails of Forest Park. As always, we will be working on some great projects: constructing bridges, building retaining walls, installing culverts and doing basic (but much-needed) trail maintenance.

We are once again partnering with REI and Portland Parks & Recreation to put on a great event. The only catch for this year is that we will be limiting registration to 100 volunteers.

Registration is now full for this event. Thank You!

Overheard...

What helps identfify Portland is its parks. More than anything else, it's Forest Park...it establishes the geography of the city and it ties us to our history of settlement. It shaped the city, and it still shapes the city's personality"

- Chet Orloff, historian and chair of Portland Parks and Recreation Board
