A casual natural history walk in Forest Park

Join the Conservancy's stewardship director for a brief natural history walk in Forest Park. This hike will cover 3-4 miles with moderate elevation gain. Along the way, we will discuss the natural and cultural history of Forest Park.

This hike is for ages 10 and up. There is no cost to participate; please pre-register to receive additional information about the hike, including trailhead information.

Stephen Hatfield is the Forest Park Conservancy's stewardship director. Stephen holds a MS in Environmental Education from Lesley University. From 2000 to 2003, Stephen taught Natural Science to high school juniors and led a variety of backcountry expeditions at the High Mountain Institute in Leadville, Colorado. He has also worked as an educator and naturalist for the North Cascades Institute in Sedro-Woolley, WA.
