SUMMARY:Earth Day Oregon – Saturday, April 24th
DESCRIPTION:Forest Park Conservancy will be celebrating Earth Day Oregon on two days this year: Thursday, April 22nd and Saturday, April 24th, and we’re inviting you to join!\nWe will create small volunteer experiences for small groups spread throughout Forest Park. Our goal is to provide fun, helpful ways for volunteers to engage in our ongoing stewardship plan while keeping their safety and health in mind.\nWhen: Saturday, April 24th, 9am to 12pm.\nWhat:  We will be planting native species and removing invasive species throughout Forest Park.\nWhere: The location will be emailed to all participants the week of volunteering. Parking is limited. Carpooling encouraged!\nPack plenty of water and dress for all weather conditions. Long pants and sturdy, closed-toe shoes are required for your safety.  All training, tools and work gloves will be provided.\nAdditionally, FPC will continue to abide by the Oregon Health Authority guidelines, and we ask that all participants follow our policy guidelines found here ( https://forestparkconservancy.org/health-safety-stewardship-guidelines/ ).
