DESCRIPTION:Come and discover the history of Forest Park, walking the trails with local business owner and researcher, Tanya March!\nWe’ll hike through Forest Park Heights, into Forest Park, discussing early development efforts, how the landscaped was changed, and how Forest Park came to be.\nWhen: Saturday August 7th, 11:00am – 1:00pm.\nWhere: Lower Macleay Trailhead ( https://www.google.com/maps/place/Lower+Macleay+Park/@45.5368404,-122.7158582,15.88z/data=!4m5!3m4!1s0x0:0x1b3668a7adc941d9!8m2!3d45.5359671!4d-122.7125142 ). Carpooling is encouraged at this trailhead, as there is limited parking.\nHike Leader: Tanya March. A local researcher, historian, and business owner.\nAdditionally, FPC will continue to abide by the Oregon Health Authority guidelines, and we ask that all participants follow our policy guidelines found here ( https://forestparkconservancy.org/health-safety-stewardship-guidelines/ ).
