DESCRIPTION:A Celebration of Trees, Trails and Community\nThe Wildwood Welcome Party is an event focused on bringing together communities from all around Portland for a two-day event full of inclusive activities, where participants can choose from a variety of unique experiences and engage with Forest Park in ways that are fun, and relevant for them. Click here to see everything going on between June 17-18th! All events are free (thanks to support from our friends at Nike!) and open to all ages.\nAbout The Pride Shake-Out Run\nFor one of the first events of the Wildwood Welcome Party, join Portland Frontrunners, Trail Mixed Collective, NIKE Trail, and the Forest Park Conservancy for shake-out run before Pride in Forest Park.\nWe’ll talk about safety in Forest Park, tips for running on the trails, and what’s ideal to do the day before your race.\nGet tips from NIKE Trail pros and meet new friends and fellow Forest Park lovers. The event is non-competitive, free and welcome to all! We strongly encourage carpooling, using rideshare or Trimet services to attend this event. Parking is extremely limited.\nWe will be meeting at the Leif Gate at NW Thurman Street.\nThis event has limited capacity. Please sign up by clicking YES on the green button at the top right of this page.\nAlternative Transportation Encouraged and Rewarded \nHelp reduce trailhead congestion!
