Marquam Nature Park

In 2023, Forest Park Conservancy merged with Friends of Marquam Nature Park, the non-profit organization that has been the primary stewards of Marquam Nature Park since 1974. As a result of the merger of these two organizations, starting in the summer of 2024, FPC will support volunteers and PP&R for trail maintenance and restoration projects in Marquam Nature Park.

Marquam Nature Park is a public park located in the city of Portland. Comprised of over 200 acres of undeveloped land and over 7 miles of hiking trails, it is the third largest park in Portland. Marquam Nature Park is minutes from downtown Portland and accessible by public transportation. Visitors come to the park for excellent hiking and running opportunities, an escape from city life, and its scenic forest views.

Marquam Trail, an important 7 mile link in the 40-Mile Loop trail system, as well as being the "Trail" portion of the 4T Trail, runs through the park and provides a connection to other trails and natural areas throughout the metropolitan area.
