On Tuesday, August 19th, Forest Park Conservancy is participating in a panel discussion with the Portland Parks Foundation to highlight Terrain. Terrain is a community-driven, environmentally centered art exhibition that showcases nature through artistic responses to the surrounding wild landscapes and their rich history.
The panel discussion will highlight the challenges of stewarding forests and natural resources in urban settings, engaging with the dynamics of urban order and natural growth, and how art works as a medium for storytelling that allows a community to collaborate on addressing systemic issues.
