Announcing the FPC Super Special Summer Fundraiser!

Mikey BrooksUncategorized

It’s the Super Special Summer Fundraiser at the Forest Park Conservancy! We’re giving away the cutest bumper stickers from our friend Natasha Rauf.

Natasha designed us these “Follow Me to Forest Park” bumper stickers, and for a limited time we are giving 200 of them away with every donation to FPC of $15 or more. Your donation will help us to continue our work in Forest Park as we move out of brushing season and prepare to start new trails projects. Our trails team is preparing to rebuild a stream crossing on the Wildwood Trail, repair some broken retaining walls, and fix some severely sloped sections of trail.

If 200 people donated just $15, that would be a total of $3,000 contributed to helping us conduct our trails work this fall.

About the Artist

We are also excited to feature Natasha Rauf, the artist behind these bumper stickers and our Forest Park Member stickers. Rauf is a local artist who is also a Forest Park user and neighbor with a deep connection to Forest Park.

We asked Rauf how she felt about Forest Park and her relationship with it, and this is what she had to say:

“[Forest Park is] A place of joy, perspective, and revival. Living next to Forest Park makes me feel incredibly grateful. I get to access one of the most coveted, most beautiful parts of the city just two blocks away. Nature is a pivotal part of my art process. It’s a point of intersection between the human experience and how we connect to our surroundings. The park always helps me feel restored to my deeper self, and my illustration work for the park involves this aspect of reconnection, of engaging and feeling a part of the park itself.”

Get your bumper sticker today by donating using this link. There are only 200 of these available! Don’t miss out and support FPC today, and thank you to everyone who donates or volunteers with us. Your support makes the work we do possible.
