Forest Ambassadors
Ambassadors are stationed at trailheads in Forest Park and Marquam Nature Park. Their role is to greet park users and serve as a helpful resource by providing directions, information, and just overall being a welcoming presence in our parks! Thanks to their work, we can help inform park users and make them feel more welcome in our parks. If you want to interact with the public this might be a great role for you!
Ambassador trainings will be on Wednesday, March 11th and Saturday, March 14th.
Volunteer Crew Leaders
We work in the field with thousands of volunteers every year. With so many volunteers, we need the help of our more experienced volunteers to help run work parties and make sure things go smoothly. Our crew leaders are given extra training on our stewardship practices in order to help us manage volunteers, provide guidance and answer questions, and overall help make sure things run smoothly. If you want to improve your skills and help support our work in the forest this might be the role for you!
Volunteer crew leader trainings will be on Saturday, March 21st and Wednesday, March 24th.
