Hundreds of Forest Park users park and head off into the forest with no problems at all.
However, it is an unfortunate truth that car break-ins have been on the rise, and Forest Park’s trailheads are no exception.
If you see something suspicious, say something. The Forest Park Conservancy does not have park policy enforcement authority, so please make reports to the Portland Parks rangers by calling (503) 823-1637. Trust your instincts and know that rangers are here to help.
If you observe a crime in progress, please call 911.
