Forest Park Ambassador Online Webinar Training – Saturday, June 6th

Following a successful first year, Forest Park Conservancy is continuing the Forest Park Ambassador Program. Through this program, volunteers become trained leaders in the field, engage with park visitors and educate them on Forest Park so that everybody can better access the natural resources in their community and feel like they belong.

Forest Park Ambassadors will be trained on Leave No Trace principles, the history of Forest Park and the Conservancy, and will become experts in ensuring that everyone feels welcome and inspired to be stewards of Forest Park whether it’s their first time visiting, or they are long time park users.

For the first time ever, we will be holding this training virtually! We hope that this allows for more flexibility in attendance, but if you’re planning to attend, please plan to be an active participant in the training. We intend to make this as fun and engaging as possible – just like if we were in person!

  • Where: Zoom, to be emailed to all participants
  • When: Saturday, June 6th, 10:00am – 12:30pm. Please note that there will be a 15-20 minute break mid-training, and it’s possible we may finish slightly early.

If you have any questions regarding the training, please contact our Volunteer Coordinator, Zac Peal.
