Ivy Basket Weaving in Forest Park
Forest Park Conservancy will be hosting an ivy basket weaving class, where we’ll discuss the impact of some of the invasive species that FPC works to manage, what the plants look like, and how you can help the health of the forest and green spaces in your community while doing something fun!
You’ll learn the basics of how to work with materials, and when the class is finished you’ll have something to take home as a keepsake while helping to repurpose the natural resources of Forest Park.
When: Saturday May 8th, 10:00am – 1:00pm.
Where: The pavilion at Lower Macleay Trailhead. We will have sectioned off areas in the open-air to ensure the safety of all participants.
Additionally, FPC will continue to abide by the Oregon Health Authority guidelines, and we ask that all participants follow our policy guidelines found here. All participants will be asked to wear a mask and remain 6ft from any other participant group, and FPC will make every effort to provide materials to keep participants safe and healthy!
