Photo Workshop 2. Telling Stories with the camera: landscapes (Bruce MacGregor Photography) August 24, 2024

Join us for this two-part Discovery Hike as we explore Forest Park through photography, experiencing the light in Summer and Winter months with seasoned photographer Bruce MacGregor!

This hike will be run as a work shop. All participants should plan to bring an SLR camera (if attending with someone else, you may share). There will be an overview of the principles, and a description of the goals, highlighting the use of light on the trails. Afterward, you’ll take turns walking the trail, taking photos, and receiving feedback on the photos produced.

This is part two of a two-part workshop. We ask that if you’re participating in the Winter Light photography hike that you sign up to join the Summer Light photography hike.

We hope to make this a fun and engaging discussion for all!

Hike Leaders: Bruce MacGregor, a professional photographer, specializing in outdoor and nature photography, and longtime friend of Forest Park and FPC.

When: Saturday November 20th, 9:00am – 12:00pm

Where: This will be a Discovery Hike over Zoom. All participants will be emailed the link and information on how to participate in the week of the virtual hike.

Photographers are encouraged to check out the Forest Park Photography Contest, where you can submit your Forest Park images for your chance to win $500 worth of gear from Peak Design and Pro Photo Supply. It is free to enter, thanks to our Summer Adventure Series sponsors.
