Forest Park BINGO with Forest Park Conservancy
As COVID-19 continues to keep us at home, many of us are trying to find creative ways to find joy in food, keep ourselves and our families healthy and use what we have in the pantry without making another trip to the grocery store. We are so excited to announce our guest Katherine Deumling who will be joining us for our first-ever Forest Park Bingo event!
Katherine has been a Forest Park user and fan for over 20 years and started “Cook With What You Have” in 2008 to make cooking every day more delicious, accessible, and creative. Her approach of creative resilience in the kitchen is coupled with a deep interest in systemic challenges in our food system. For more than a decade she was involved in Slow Food, locally, nationally, and internationally, which brought together her interest in food systems, farmworker rights and regenerative agriculture, and the combination of joy and justice.
Grab a beverage, a good meal, and join us for a night of BINGO with our special guest Katherine Deumling who will share some great tips for creating a healthy, locally-sourced meal after your next trip to Forest Park.
Where: Zoom; link emailed week of event to all registered participants.
When: Tuesday, December 1st; 7:00pm – 8:00pm
