Summer Nights Trails Work Party, July 27, 2021

Join us for one of our special Summer Nights evening work parties in Forest Park!

 FPC will be brushing the excess growth along the sides of the trails in Forest Park. Each spring in order to make certain the trails are safe and passable for park users, our volunteers help cut back the spring growth hanging into the trails.

Join us in helping make Forest Park accessible and protecting the long term health of the trails!

When: Tuesday, July 27thth, 5:30pm to 7:30pm.

What:  We be brushing the excess growth along trails in Forest Park.

Where: Upper Springville Road Trailhead. Parking is limited. Carpooling encouraged!

Pack plenty of water and dress for all weather conditions. Long pants and sturdy, closed-toe shoes are required for your safety. All training, tools and work gloves will be provided. In recent years, Forest Park has seen an uptick in bee activity, if you have any allergies, please bring medications in case of emergency!

Additionally, FPC will continue to abide by the Oregon Health Authority guidelines, and we ask that all participants follow our policy guidelines found here. All participants will be asked to wear a mask and remain 6ft from any other participant group, and FPC will make every effort to provide materials to keep participants safe and healthy!
