About English Ivy Basket Weaving
Join Elder Celeste Whitewolf for an ivy weaving workshop. Elder Celeste has taught numerous weaving courses and completed multiple artist residencies with the Josephy Center for Arts and Culture.
English ivy is a non-native species that thrive in Forest Park, to the detriment of native plants and trees. While it is necessary that our work involve the removal of ivy to restore Forest Park, ivy weaving workshops allow us to repurpose removed ivy into something beautiful.
We will be meeting at the Lower Macleay Park Pavillon, Lower Macleay Park, 2960 NW Upshur St, Portland, OR 97210, USA
This event has limited capacity. Please sign up by clicking YES on the green button at the top right of this page.
