Thank you and congratulations to the 35 Forest Park Ambassadors who just completed FPC’s first Virtual Trainings this spring!
We are grateful to these new and returning volunteers who will help ensure that park users will find a sense of belonging and have all of the information they need to have a great time in the park.
The program will officially launch with Ambassadors hitting the trails sometime in early July 2020.
Forest Park Ambassadors support both Forest Park Conservancy staff and Portland Parks Rangers during the busy summer season, stationing themselves at 5 high traffic trailheads and multiple hiking loops throughout Forest Park. Ambassadors engage park users to welcome and provide them resources to better access and enjoy Forest Park.
