Are you passionate about Forest Park? Do you have professional skills and experience in fundraising, strategic planning, or other fields that you think would be helpful to FPC? We are currently recruiting for our Board of Directors, so if you are interested in taking on a leadership role within FPC and lending your experience and voice we encourage you to apply. This is a great opportunity to become more involved in our work and have a direct impact on the work we do to serve our community, as well as Forest Park and Marquam Nature Park.
Our Board of Directors is a working Board that actively assists our staff in the work we conduct. Board Members serve on staff committees to offer their input on our work, volunteer their time to directly support our work, and contribute in other ways related to their skill sets. Their support helps our staff accomplish our organizational goals in ways that would otherwise not be possible for a smaller organization like FPC. If you want to volunteer your time towards conservation work in Forest Park and Marquam Nature Park, becoming a member of our Board is a great way to have a hands-on role in our work and to serve our community.
