Introducing, the Forest Park Conservancy’s Meditative Moments Series!
For many, Forest Park and access to outdoor spaces have been limited due to COVID-19 and the need for social distancing. Not everyone is able to easily get to a place where they can hear the birds chirp, feel the cool forest breeze, or see the hints of sunshine that trickle through the canopy.
So, we have decided to bring these moments to you.
Each Wednesday through the end of July, we will be posting a Meditative Moment video on YouTube which captures the stillness and beauty of various trails in Forest Park.
These videos force you to embrace the stillness of each shot and listen to every rustle. We want these videos to make you feel connected to Forest Park, despite the distance. Please make your screen big, close your eyes or gaze at the view – take a moment to process and use your senses.
Produced and edited by Ella McMullin, a volunteer for the Forest Park Conservancy.
Feel free to reach out and request a meditative moment on your favorite trail, a view from Forest Park, or time of day.
Enjoy!
