Give!Guide 2025 Wrap-Up: Your Dedication to our Parks Makes a Real Difference

Forest Park ConservancyUncategorized

2025 has come and gone, and thanks to you it has been one of our most impactful years to date as an organization. We hosted our most successful brushing season, partnered with local businesses to launch the largest Nasty Challenge, won an appeal from City Council to protect Forest Park, and so much more! All of this was possible thanks to you. By volunteering with us on the trails, joining us at our public events, writing to the City Council, you showed your dedication to our parks and helped make a real difference.

In addition to these wins, we have recently finished our 2025 Give!Guide campaign. Altogether, we received 711 donations and raised $63,029.87 through Give!Guide! These donations will facilitate our work going forward into 2026, and we have a lot in store for you.

In addition to continuing our yearly efforts conducting work in Forest Park and Marquam Nature Park, this year FPC aims to:

  • Finish developing our organization’s 3-year strategic plan to guide the next chapter of our work
  • Continue advocating for Forest Park in opposition to PGE’s Harborton Reliability Project
  • Expand our restoration efforts with new initiatives to educate the public on the importance of this work and how they can become involved
  • Improving accessibility to our parks through new initiatives in partnership with Portland Parks & Recreation

That is not all of course. We are always looking for new opportunities to expand our work and to connect with our community, as you are the ones who make our work possible. Whether you’re a donor, a volunteer, or you support FPC in other ways, thank you for being a part of this community. With everything we have in store, it’s an exciting time for Forest Park and Marquam Nature Park, and we look forward to you being a part of the excitement!

Thank you to all of our incredible Give!Guide business partners who supported our 2025 campaign: Arc’teryx, Columbia, Cotopaxi, KEEN, Stanley 1913, Patagonia, Taylor Street Kitchen, Territory Run Co., and Zigzag Mountain Farm.

These wonderful businesses are helping us celebrate our supporters by providing some amazing prizes and donor incentives throughout the campaign. Their commitment to community and the outdoors helps make this work possible. We couldn’t be more thankful for their support!

Additionally, we were thrilled to celebrate and stand alongside some truly incredible fellow nonprofits in last year’s Give!Guide campaign. Consider giving some support to our amazing nonprofit partners: Bird Alliance of Oregon, Crag Law Center, Trailkeepers of Oregon, Portland Fruit Tree Project, 1000 Friends of Oregon, and the Coalition of Oregon Land Trusts!
