We all love Forest Park, this natural gem right here in Portland. All of us are truly lucky to have access to such a wondrous natural resource, but it takes our whole community working together to help steward this place.
This year, we are once again partnering with Thomas’ Breads to host a day of volunteering and stewardship to give back to Forest Park and our local community for National Public Lands Day, September 24th!
You can sign up to volunteer with us from either 9 am-12 pm or 1-4 pm. At noon, Thomas’ will be providing a complimentary meal to all volunteers at Lower Macleay Park featuring Thomas’ favorites like English Muffins and Bagels. The meal will be prepared by our friends at The Daily Feast!
In addition, everyone who joins will get a free branded t-shirt, an FPC bandana, and other free goodies!
National Public Lands Day is an opportunity for us to engage with and give back to our local public lands, so join us on the trails and help us make this an event to remember as we celebrate Forest Park.
