Meet Reza, FPC’s Newest Team Member from Cogenerate’s Encore Fellowship Program

Forest Park ConservancyUncategorized

We are excited to introduce Reza Nassib, the newest member of the FPC team! Reza comes to us sponsored by the Encore Fellowship Program. He will bring his decades of experience with Intel to us to help support our work, primarily by helping us develop our strategic direction and manage our finances.

What brought you to work at FPC?

I joined FPC through Intel’s Retired Employees Fellowship program. After my retirement, I was looking to get involved with community efforts, but something that would be much different than my professional experience and FPC is a great opportunity to do just that. My tenure at FPC will be for one year on a half-time basis. After that, I plan to continue my involvement as a volunteer.

What will your work focus on while at FPC?

I will help with our strategic direction and finance. I will also look to contribute to other areas.

What did you do prior to FPC?

I worked at Intel Corp. for about 30 years with my responsibilities spanning over software engineering, architecture, team management, and finally as a Technical Program Manager. Other than Intel, I worked for several other tech companies, including Tektronix. I retired from Intel in June 2023.

Do you have a favorite quote?

“Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country.” -John F. Kennedy

What is your favorite place in Forest Park?

The hiking spots adjacent to Germantown Road are my favorites. I would often take that route to and from Hillsboro when commuting to my Intel office. Walking the trails provided me with many opportunities to decompress and rebalance my thoughts.

Thank you to Cogenerate for partnering with us once again. We are excited to have Reza on the team helping to support our work in 2024!
