I am very pleased to tell you about our newest staff member! Sheryl Sackman joined the Forest Park Conservancy family as our new development director! Her work will help us strengthen and grow FPC to meet the growing needs of Forest Park.
Sheryl has nearly 30 years experience directing development, communications and grassroots organizing programs, and has a strong commitment to environmental protection. Past positions include the McKenzie River Gathering Foundation, Friends of Trees, Oregon NARAL and OLCV. Sheryl has lived in Portland since 1986. She led MRG Foundation’s development program for the last 14 years. .
Sheryl has the tenacity, dedication and passion that will help us increase support from donors, foundations and local businesses.
She is “looking forward to meeting the many folks who are committed to ensuring Forest Park is a vital and healthy place both for people to enjoy and to protect critical habitat for native plants and animals”.
