Support FPC and Other Portland Non-Profits in the 2023 Give!Guide

The Give!Guide is a fundraising campaign organized by Willamette Week to support and raise funds for local nonprofit organizations. We are just one of around 250 nonprofit organizations participating in the Give!Guide. We are proud to be part of a campaign featuring hundreds of organizations who are also doing their part to help support our local communities in their own different ways.

The Give!Guide officially begins on November 1st at 12:01 a.m. and runs through midnight on December 31st. Our fundraising goal for the campaign is $75,000. Your support will help us continue our work through the winter and prepare for the start of spring. You can support FPC, or any other Give!Guide nonprofit, through giveguide.org. And, if you donate to a Give!Guide nonprofit during a Big Give Day, you can win prizes like a getaway from SCP Hotels, a shopping spree at New Seasons Market, and more from other local businesses.

That’s not all though, we’re teaming up with some of our business partners for a few Big Give Days to provide special prizes only for Forest Park Conservancy supporters:

  • November 8th: The first three donors who give $200 or more will win a pair of HOKA shoes!
  • November 15th: All donors will receive $1 off beer at Breakside Brewery!
  • November 22nd: The first five donors of $100 or more will receive a prize from Cotopaxi!
  • December 20th: The three donors of $250 or more will win one of 3 prizes from Arc’teryx!
  • Date TBD: MyEcoWorld and Garnish Apparel

Thank you to our business sponsors for supporting our work in Forest Park and Marquam Nature Park.

Another great thing about the Give!Guide that we love is the focus on partnerships. This year we’re partnering with Northwest Trail Alliance as our non-profit partner. We are supporting each other to help bolster both organizations in big ways. FPC has participated in Give!Guide quite a few times, so we’ll share some tips from our previous successes and shortcomings with our friends at NWTA, as well as collaborate on a joint fundraising event.

FPC partners with NWTA and PP&R on trail maintenance projects for Firelane 5 in Forest Park. Firelane 5 is one of the most popular multi-use trails in Forest Park, and our ongoing work to improve drainage and erosion has had a tremendous positive impact on long-term environmental sustainability in Forest Park. We could not do this work alone; we are so grateful for partnerships like this to take care of Forest Park together. Thank you NWTA!

Your support will help us fund our work on the trails, restoration projects, and nature education programs so that we can continue caring for Forest Park and providing fun experiences for you and your community. If you haven’t donated to us before, we hope you’ll consider supporting us during this campaign so that we can end the year on a real high note!
