How are you? We hope you had a safe and healthy weekend. Here are some updates if you are thinking of visiting Forest Park :
Tip 1: Newton Road – Caution: There was a small landslide towards the bottom of Newton Road, about half a mile from the Newton Road/BPA Road Trailhead on St Helens Rd/Hwy 30. The landslide is located at a creek crossing. Please use caution when using the trail in this area. These photos are a before – don’t worry, it looks much better now! Tip 2: Winter is fully here. Many trails are muddy, so wear your sturdy shoes, prepare for unpredictable conditions, and stay on the trail! And don’t forget your mask which will have the added bonus of keeping your nose toasty.
